Type : MANU (travail manuel), EDU (éducation), ANI (avec des animaux)
Travail : Rescue & Recovery: Taking sick and injured dogs into the shelter for medical treatment and care, volunteers can work with Doctors of Veterinary Clinic (they visit only when needed), who provide professional service with compassion and sensitivity. Nutrition is a key factor in recovery and restoration of low immune systems - the dogs receive a balanced diet of freshly prepared food. You can make dogs walk outside morning and evening, are free in the compound during the day, and secured in the kennels at night. They are vaccinated and spayed/neutered when they regain health.
Community Work: In the Kopan area many dogs are free-roaming, whether individually owned, or community dogs. A holistic approach, based on the participation of the local people, aims to change attitudes and improve the welfare of all dogs in the community. Raising awareness among community people is one possible work for volunteers.
Hospice Care: Many dogs come into the shelter in a critical condition. The centre try to improve their quality of life by providing ongoing care for the chronically ill, injured, disabled, abandoned, neglected and aged to save them from suffering and dying on the street. They can live comfortably in a safe place receiving medical treatment and care. Every dog is given a chance for an improved life and a peaceful place to die.

Type : RENO (Restauration), ENVI (Environnement), STUDY(à thèmes)
Travail : During this workcamp, volunteers will deal with different tasks related to renovation and maintenance of our houses in the east of Iceland. The work will depend on the skills and knowledge of each volunteer, but focuses mainly on tasks such as painting, cleaning, fixing small things, and acquires basic knowledge of carpentry and construction. During winter in Iceland the accommodations are prepared for the summer. This camp is extremely important for us and for our summer volunteers. If the weather conditions are good, we will also help the local community with various kind of environmental work. In addition to the work, winter in Iceland also means AURORA HUNTING. If you like photography, having an amazing time with friends from all over the world and the Northern lights, this camp will suit you perfectly.

We will be on the lookout for Aurora borealis at night throughout the whole camp, so you will have the opportunity to take photos of this amazing and unique phenomenon. It is very important to bring your camera with you (only cameras that work in long exposure will catch those lights), so don't forget your tripod and camera. The photos will be of your personal use, but we will also keep the best photos and use them in our brochures, on the website and on social media.
