How to host international volunteers in your organisation ?

You are a non-profit organization, a municipality, a public school, a youth center, etc. You have a project where a hand would be welcome? Why not hosting an international workcamp for a period of 2 weeks or more?

To be a hosting partner, you must be a non-profit organization and have:

  • A local or regional development project likely to keep the volunteers busy during their stay at least 6 hours per day.
  • The desire to involve young international volunteers, for about two or three weeks to complete your project with members of your association.
  • A working project that leads to concrete achievements producing durable effects.
  • The possibility to accommodate and provide for the volunteers (camping, common room, with a host family, food and kitchen...etc).
  • At least one person that can supervise volunteers during their work

International Volunteering Service gives free services to help you recruit volunteers that meet your requirements, including all administrative tasks and monitoring of volunteers.

We want to make it clear that our volunteers are not coming for a linguistic exchange or for holidays, they are coming to help you on your project. On the other hand, we want to make it really clear that they are not free workers. Further than helping on the project, we want them to really be included to your association and to live an exchange with your members.

Be aware : if you wish to host a group in the summer, the best is to contact us at the beginning of the year so that we have time to prepare the project.
