Our partner provides:
• orientation;

• parental support and early intervention;
• specific rehabilitations;
• psychological counseling;
• external outreach and integration.
The association carries out its activity through:
• welcoming, listening, informing and guiding children with Down syndrome and their families;
• promoting co-education approaches and orientation towards self-determination;
• helping families and young people to build an individual life plan.
• offering individual projects;
• working for social integration at all levels: family, school, work, sports and culture;
• implementing all that may be necessary to the physical, intellectual and moral development of the persons with Down syndrome, in accordance with their aspirations;
• defending and promoting the social integration of people with Down syndrome.
Presentation of the program
• organize educational workshops: dance and physical expression, fine arts, origami, paper recycling, gardening, etc.;
• organize sports activities: physical conditioning, golf, horse riding, judo, football, baseball, etc.;
• assist the teachers in school related activities;
• assist the professionals in stimulation activities: speech therapy, physiotherapy, etc.
Time of work : from 9 am to 12 am and from 14 pm to 16 pm.

As the center of governance in the country, Rabat is home to many governmental and diplomatic institutions, as well as foreign embassies. In terms of the associative sector, Rabat is the hub of numerous organizations engaged in various fields, from environmental protection to education and socio-economic development. About the leisure
In Rabat, volunteers have a variety of leisure activities to enjoy. The city offers beautiful beaches along the Atlantic coast, perfect for sunbathing, swimming, and water sports like surfing or paddleboarding. Rabat's historic sites, including the Kasbah des Oudaias and the Chellah Necropolis, are ideal for exploring and soaking in the city's rich cultural heritage. Lush green spaces such as the Andalusian Gardens and the Hassan Tower Gardens provide tranquil settings for picnics, strolls, or simply relaxing amidst nature. For those interested in shopping and dining, the medina and modern neighborhoods offer vibrant markets, boutique shops, and an array of restaurants serving delicious Moroccan cuisine. Additionally, Rabat hosts various cultural events, festivals, and music concerts throughout the year, providing entertainment options for every taste.
Requirements
• Cover letter;
• no previous working experience required although pedagogical skills would give extra quality to the project;
• enthusiastic, positive, patient and respectful people needed;
• people psychologically prepared to work with children suffering various disabilities;
• willingness to develop ties with other nationalities and learn new things; our partner encourages everyone to follow the pace they feel comfortable with.
Meeting point
The project is located near the train station of Rabat, so it is accessible via Taxi, Tram or Train.
• If you choose to arrive directly at Rabat Airport, our partner can arrange someone to pick you up for 150 dirhams, otherwise the meeting point will be Rabat Ville Train Station.
• To get to the Rabat Ville Train Station from the airport you can take the bus right outside the gate for 20 dirhams; it will leave you in front of the train station. With a taxi, it should cost you about 100 dirhams (price negotiable).
• If you arrive in any other airport of the country, you will be able to reach Rabat by train.
