Presentation of the program
APPLICATIONS MUST BE SUBMITTED HERE: www.logo.at/esc | “Haltegriff” is an institution offering living and work training for young people aged 16 to 21 with NEET status (Not in Education, Employment, or Training) who cannot live at home. "Haltegriff" helps them develop independence both personally and professionally. There are two teams: the work coaching team, which organizes internships and workshops to build job skills, and the living facility team, which provides accommodation for up to 16 youngsters and supervises their daily lives. The teams consist of pedagogues, social workers, and psychologists. "Haltegriff" supports youths facing issues at home or in education. The team of workers helps them develop social and professional skills. There are many activities offered, such as workshops, outdoor days, and trips, to enhance personal growth. The volunteer will support both the work training and living facility teams, providing assistance in various areas.
About the accommodation
The volunteer will live in Graz at astudents' dormitory in a single room, with a shared bathroom and kitchen. They will commute to Kapfenberg and will have a yearly ticket for public transport in the region. If requested the volunteer can have a bike as well. The volunteer will get a 330 € for food money/Month. The pocket money is 210 €/Month.
About the leisure
The language course will be provided by the hosting organisation. Trainings (On arrival and Mid Term) will be offered by National agency
