Presentation of the program
The citizen’s house develops projects aiming at consolidating social cohesion, with the help of 8 volunteers : 6 french volunteers and 2 international volunteers.
For 9 months you will work in a team with 6 other French volunteers and 1 European volunteer. During this time, you will create strong bonds within your team, as you have to work on all the projects together as a group. You can look forward to the two cohesion seminars with the team, as they are an amazing bonding experience!
There will be 7 – 11 missions overall that you will be working on. While most missions have an allocated time slot in the week, your weeks will look different every time depending on what needs to be done.
While the missions are never the same each year and are always very diverse, the framework stays the same. You will be working with senior citizens, children in a primary school, and children with disabilities.

At the same time, the organisations participating in the initiative devote a great deal of time, energy and resources to set up a high-quality activity; they should therefore expect that European Solidarity Corps participants show a similar level of respect for the local communities and the people that are directly concerned by the activities (https://youth.europa.eu/solidarity/mission_en).
