About the local hosting organization
Tallinn Kullatera Kindergarden is a municipaltity kindergarten. Our kindergarten has been established in the year 1950. There are 9 groups in the kindergarten. Educational activities will take place in Estonian language. Kindergarten has two landscaped yards .
We have joined with the projects "Temptation free kindergarten", health promoting kindergartens (TEL) .
In daily activities we have mission: we are modern, promote cooperation and outdoor education, we are child- centred kindergarten where the work of personnel is valued. Principal value: child- centered, safety, openness, reliability, humanity. The vision: Kullatera- the best start of schooling!
Tallinn Kullatera Kindergarten is for 1.5- to 7-year old children childcare and educational institution to their appropriate age, offering higher education. Kindergarten activities keywords are safety, innovation, values, traditions, lifelong learning and caring of cooperation.
Education and schooling process: child-centered playful learning. Kindergarten teaching activities keywords are child-centered approach, playfulness, using new methodics and innovative approach, consider the child's natural interest, development and accepting kids ideas. Kindergarten supports children's individual/ speech development, offers different options to take part hobbies. Kindergarten support children's wishes to take a part of exhibitions and competitions.
At the end of 2017, the Tallinn Education Department organized a competition for educational institutions that have previous experience in five specific ICT fields and have an in-depth interest in developing the #EduInnoLab project. Tallinna Kullatera Kindergarten is one of the educational institution who can participate in #EduInnoLab project. In the Innovation Lab, learning activities are based on modern learning concepts, learning models and methodologies. All of our kindergarten teachers make different learning activities with the equipment what we have in EduInnoLab. The Robot Garden is, in our view, a kindergarten that is motivated and powered daily with modern robotic and electronic tools that help enrich and modernize children's educational and educational activities.

About the accommodation
ESC Volunteers will be provided with suitable accommodation conveniently located near their respective hosting organisation. Accommodation will typically be in a shared apartment or hostel, furnished with essential items. Rooms may be private or shared, depending on availability, with shared kitchen and bathroom facilities. Volunteers receive €5/day pocket money and additional €7/day food allowance, managing their own meals. International travel is reimbursed based on set travel budget and task related local transport is covered to full extent.
About the leisure
Volunteers will take part in the ESC training cycle organized by the Estonian National Agency, which focuses on personal development and intercultural learning. Throughout the service period, EstYES also offers hikes and other group activities, creating further opportunities for social interaction and connection with fellow volunteers.
