Presentation of the program

IZUM Youth Club is a dynamic mobile youth learning and development Center that has been actively engaged in Tallinn, Estonia since 1994. Our mission revolves around fostering non-formal education opportunities for youth aged eleven and above, both locally and internationally. We offer a diverse array of activities aimed at self-development, encompassing various aspects of youth culture such as theater, music, dance, and art. This project presents an invaluable opportunity for volunteers to immerse themselves in the areas of youth work, directly engaging with youth within our organization. Volunteers will have direct interaction with the local minority community, enabling them to make a tangible impact. International travel is reimbursed based on set travel budget and task related local transport is covered to full extent.

About the leisure

Additionally, EstYES organizes hikes and other activities for volunteers throughout the service period, providing opportunities for social interaction.

The project is implemented under the European Solidarity Corps Programme, financed by the European Commission.
The participating organisations have to be mindful of these needs as they are responsible for providing a respectful and trusting hosting environment. At the same time, the organisations participating in the initiative devote a great deal of time, energy and resources to set up a high-quality activity; they should therefore expect that European Solidarity Corps participants show a similar level of respect for the local communities and the people that are directly concerned by the activities (https://youth.europa.eu/solidarity/mission_en).
