Presentation of the program
The use of theater art to foster acceptance of diversity and strengthening social inclusion process. Volunteers will work on presenting fair play rules through theater tools to the kids of the “UMOJA-ENOSI” fc. By learning to follow the rules, cooperate with others, and accept victory or defeat with dignity, children and volunteers (volunteers as well) could develop social and emotional skills such as empathy, acceptance of diversity and mutual respect.
The 1st week will be introductory, preparatory and educational. The volunteers will get to know each other through theater games and get in touch with the kids introducing the topic of fair play.
The volunteers will explore and share the rules of fair play and stories of racism in football in order to be more familiar with the topic.
The 2nd week volunteers will prepare the interactive performance, (based on Forum Theater methods) which will be presented at the football field. Find more info in: https://canva.link/5c7m9h9ir2jnhp
