Presentation of the program

Go4GreenTree ESC short 15 days (15.09-29.09.2025) *Support a greener community through clean-up actions and sharing eco-friendly practices. *Engage in two major environmental actions: revitalizing the river through a clean-up and restoring green public spaces in the community *Raise environmental awareness through public events interacting with the community *Developing range of activities specific to ecology in the community, increasing the commitment to the environment of young people

About the accommodation

*Volunteers will be accommodated in rented apartments with shared bathroom and kitchen max 2 in same room divided by gender. The location will be equipped for basic needs, kitchen essentials, laundry facilities, wifi, please note that we cannot accommodate volunteers who prioritize high living standards *Volunteers will receive a food allowance of 6 euros/day and 4 euros/day as pocket money in lei Romanian national currency * A local public transport pass will be provided for each volunteer

Requirements

The Participant profile: * Aged 18–30 year old * Ability to buy the travel tickets (at arrival reimbursement will be made) * Fluent at a medium level in English * Motivated to take part in the project and showing involvement during the selection process * Able to assume the tasks and rules of the project

Extra information

The project is implemented under the European Solidarity Corps Programme, financed by the European Commission.
The participating organisations have to be mindful of these needs as they are responsible for providing a respectful and trusting hosting environment. At the same time, the organisations participating in the initiative devote a great deal of time, energy and resources to set up a high-quality activity; they should therefore expect that European Solidarity Corps participants show a similar level of respect for the local communities and the people that are directly concerned by the activities (https://youth.europa.eu/solidarity/mission_en).
