About the local hosting organization
Explorator is a very active youth organization at local and regional level, founded in March of 2008, at the initiative of a young person involved in volunteering activities that take place internationally.
Currently, the association has 11 active volunteers whom are developing civic projects with significant impact at local and regional level.
To date, Explorator is involved with more than 230 young people in volunteering and civic projects, among its care being 50 young people and directly encourages in the development project through the Youth in Action Program and Erasmus+. Within all the steps taken, the organization insured equal chances for young people with fewer opportunities, in order to benefit of multicultural experience.
The purpose of the association is the same for an organization and information activities, promoting a fundamental European value and a civic interest through initiative and social design (including volunteering).
Through initiative and projects implemented, our representatives intend to stimulate the involvement of citizens in community affairs, to extend and strengthen partnerships with public organizations and institutions and to promote active citizenship in general, to activate learning activities and to inform about the values of the European project and democratic principles.
