About the local hosting organization
4xC is a unique avant-garde laboratory for research, development and promotion of traditional and contemporary art forms. A laboratory that does not produce, but rather gives birth to artistic artifacts by searching for and finding authenticity in art. The association aims to: support the education and integration of young people with disabilities, to seek, research and promote authentic Bulgarian art, to update and promote classical artifacts, to establish new trends in art comparable to European ones, to spread the principles of solidarity, equality and protection of human rights, to promote national values and culture mainly among youth and students.
Among the main activities of 4xC are: creation of theatre, dance and music productions and their presentation in Bulgaria and abroad, organization of workshops, concerts, creative workshops and residences, expeditions and festivals, establishing contacts with state and municipal institutions, media, private and business organizations, international organizations, cultural institutions, programs, forums and festivals.
Our activities are supported by Sofia University, Sofia Municipality, Ministry of Culture, National Culture Fund, Cultural Contact, Prohelvetia, Open Society Institute, many municipal and private organizations and others.
