Are you a tech-savvy, creative, and organized individual eager to contribute to a dynamic NGO? Do you believe in the power of communication to drive social change? Akwedukt Association is looking for a passionate Social Media & Office Worker to join our team in Kwidzyn, Poland, as part of the European Solidarity Corps! About Akwedukt Association Akwedukt is an NGO founded by local activists committed to catalyzing societal change and broadening community opportunities. Through various initiatives like training courses, youth exchanges, and children's camps, we empower individuals and communities. Our mission focuses on promoting volunteering and advocating for its significance in society. Since 2015, we've coordinated the work of over 300 hosted volunteers across 8 hosting organizations, with dedicated coordinators and mentors!

About the accommodation

Travel Costs: Covered up to the limits established in the Erasmus+ Guide distance calculator from your region of residency to Kwidzyn and back. Free Accommodation: You will have a double room in a fully equipped house (kitchen, bathrooms, washing machine, etc.). Please note: Be ready to share your flat with other volunteers of a different gender (not rooms!). Monthly Allowance: Pocket money: 180 euro/month (approx. 760 PLN) Food money: 700 PLN/month Insurance: European Health Card and Henner Language Courses: Online Linguistic Support

About the leisure

Before coming to Poland, volunteers have to be prepared for the project by the supporting organization from the volunteer's country. Volunteers participate in the training offered by the Polish National Agency: on-arrival training and mid-term, and Akwedukt's Association inner programme: introduction training, methods of working with kids, monthly meetings and evaluation sessions, skill-oriented meetings, youthpass certification trainings, and any other preparation and trainings needed inside the Hosting Organisations.

The Participant profile: Your Mission: Connect & Create! As our Social Media & Office Worker, you'll be at the heart of our communications and administrative efforts. Your responsibilities will include: Collaborating with fellow volunteers to enhance workshop activities around the community. Ensuring office aesthetics through cleaning and decorating tasks, including creating window art and posters. Hosting educational sessions about the countries, cultures, and languages of all volunteers, some of which may occur in the evening. Creating engaging social media content to expand Akwedukt's network and producing photo/video reports to document activities across all hosting organizations. Assisting in the planning, programming, and execution of winter and summer holiday events. Participating in various other activities tailored to your interests and skills. This is a fantastic opportunity to live abroad, gain valuable experience in non-profit management and digital communication, and make a real impact! As part of the European Solidarity Corps, your essential needs – including food, lodging, travel, pocket money, insurance, and mentorship – are fully covered. Who we are looking for: We are seeking a creative, independent, responsible, proactive, and self-motivated individual who is ready to jump into action! Age: 18-30 years old Origin: Must come from an EU country! Skills: At least basic English proficiency , well-honed organizational abilities , and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Qualities: Enjoys public speaking, embraces daily routines, and is highly motivated to organize diverse activities that enhance integration among Polish and international participants. Work Ethic: Ready to work full-time (minimum 35 hours per week with two days off), potentially including evenings and weekends, depending on events. The participating organisations have to be mindful of these needs as they are responsible for providing a respectful and trusting hosting environment. At the same time, the organisations participating in the initiative devote a great deal of time, energy and resources to set up a high-quality activity; they should therefore expect that European Solidarity Corps participants show a similar level of respect for the local communities and the people that are directly concerned by the activities (https://youth.europa.eu/solidarity/mission_en).
