Interested in exploring hands-on and outdoor activities, community building & arts, while creating a positive long-term impact? As a volunteer you’ll have a chance to to stay in Synergy Volunteering & Learning Center (BG) and enjoy the nature, good food, nice company and international vibe. You'll have plenty of opportunities to build/garden/paint/improve the center, as well as connect with locals and share your hobbies with fellow volunteers. Sounds like your cup of tea? About the accommodation

Volunteers will be hosted in "Synergy House" - Educational & Retreat Center, opened in 2022 in order to create space for non-formal education & youth work outside of the big city and provide space for young people to explore themselves. Find more about "Synergy House" here - https://www.instagram.com/synergyhouse.bg/ Pocket money - You will receive 7€/day for your living money Food - You will receive a weekly budget for the group in order to cook altogether Travel costs - Your travel costs will be reimbursed according to the distance between your home and Sofia

About the leisure

Your work will be supported at all times by our experienced facilitators, who will guide you in the activities you will do, give you advice or recommendations, and share with you their experience in creating a healthy lifestyle or hands-on work to learn and experience as much as possible during your stay.

Requirements

The Participant profile: - 18-30 years old (not older than 31 on the 07th of July 2025) Ready to: - Live a healthy lifestyle and cultural heritage preservation - Experience hands-on work - Live in a small community with people from all over Europe - Connect and bring positive change to local communities - Take initiative and create opportunities for themselves and others - Live in a rural natural environment of Bulgaria mountains with basic conditions for four weeks - Share different cultures and understand different people in a supporting community - Create a personal project or personal initiative - Priority will be given to participants with fewer opportunities

The project is implemented under the European Solidarity Corps Programme, financed by the European Commission.
The participating organisations have to be mindful of these needs as they are responsible for providing a respectful and trusting hosting environment. At the same time, the organisations participating in the initiative devote a great deal of time, energy and resources to set up a high-quality activity; they should therefore expect that European Solidarity Corps participants show a similar level of respect for the local communities and the people that are directly concerned by the activities (https://youth.europa.eu/solidarity/mission_en).
