Presentation of the program
The project foster intercultural understanding and improve English language skills among children in rural schools by engaging them in interactive cultural presentations, fun language games, and creative activities that make learning enjoyable and memorab
About the accommodation
The volunteers will be accommodated in an apartment with separate bedrooms, a living room, bathroom, kitchen and balcony in Ramnicu Valcea, 2 volunteers will share a room for sleeping
The apartment will have all the necessary utilities (gas cooker,washing machine, refrigerator, TV, furniture in bedrooms, living rooms and kitchen, internet.
The costs of the transport for both ways will be reimbursed according to the distance band from the European Commission distance band calculator
The volunteers will receive 274 euro/month for food and pocket money
About the leisure
The volunteers will get a training about nonformal education in the beginning of the project and 2 trainings from the Romanian National Agency to integrate the volunteers from all over Romania
Requirements
The Participant profile: - 18-30 years
- are NEET (Not in Employment, Education, Training);
- have at least a conversational level of English;
- open to develop within a multi-cultural environment
- motivated to gain competences in facilitation of non-formal educational activities, event organisation, etc

The project is implemented under the European Solidarity Corps Programme, financed by the European Commission.
The participating organisations have to be mindful of these needs as they are responsible for providing a respectful and trusting hosting environment. At the same time, the organisations participating in the initiative devote a great deal of time, energy and resources to set up a high-quality activity; they should therefore expect that European Solidarity Corps participants show a similar level of respect for the local communities and the people that are directly concerned by the activities (https://youth.europa.eu/solidarity/mission_en).
