Presentation of the program
Vertigem è un'organizzazione non governativa locale per la tutela ambientale, composta da 108 membri (tutti volontari) con sede nel Parco Naturale della Serra de Aire e Candeeiros, nella regione di Leiria (Portogallo centrale). La sua missione è la promozione, la conservazione e la difesa del patrimonio naturale e biologico, attraverso lo sviluppo di progetti, azioni e iniziative di volontariato che favoriscano lo sviluppo delle comunità locali. Attraverso lo studio e la caratterizzazione degli habitat naturali, la nostra organizzazione promuove e diffonde l'educazione ambientale e sensibilizza alla protezione e alla conservazione della natura, collaborando a livello nazionale con altre organizzazioni non governative e con i Comuni di diverse regioni del Portogallo.
About the accommodation
Aappartamento adibito ad ospitare tutti i volontari (massimo 2 persone), con 2 camere da letto, bagno, un soggiorno e una cucina. L'alloggio è completamente arredato e dotato di tutto il necessario, ed è offerto gratuitamente al volontario. Riceverai un'indennità mensile per il vitto e una piccola somma per le spese personali.
About the leisure
I volontari parteciperanno a diverse fasi formative: - preparazione pre-partenza, - formazione di gruppo all'arrivo, - corso di lingua (online per tutti i partecipanti alla mobilità), - formazione iniziale e valutazione intermedia organizzata dall'Agenzia Nazionale Portoghuese.
Requirements
The Participant profile: Cerchiamo un volontario di età compresa tra i 18 ei 28 anni, senza una formazione specifica, ma con una predisposizione a lavorare con la NATURA. Siamo in grado di ospitare anche giovani con minori opportunità. I volontari devono essere flessibili, aperti e disposti ad apprendere ea condividere le proprie capacità e competenze. È richiesta la capacità di lavorare in autonomia e di integrarsi in un team multiculturale.
