Presentation of the program

La comunità Barka affronta la vita degli adulti con disabilità intellettiva da diversi punti di vista: fornisce case residenziali per le persone che vi abitano e diversi laboratori per le persone che possono sviluppare le loro capacità, essere produttivi e infine guadagnare. Sebbene questa comunità faccia parte dell'Associazione Internazionale L'Arche, è anche molto radicata sul territorio e indipendente dalla sede centrale internazionale, come tutte le comunità L'Arche. La nostra missione è far conoscere i doni degli adulti con disabilità intellettiva , lavorando insieme per una società più umana.

About the accommodation

L'alloggio è completo di tutto il necessario e gratuito per il volontario. Al volontario verrà data un'indennità di vitto e una paghetta mensile. Per alcune attività il trasporto o l'alloggio saranno forniti dall'Organizzazione.

About the leisure

I volontari avranno diversi momenti di formazione: - preparazione prima della partenza - formazione all'arrivo, - formazione su compiti (legati alle esigenze del gruppo target), - corso di lingua (online per tutte le mobilità), - Formazione all'arrivo organizzata dall'Agenzia Nazionale

Requirements

The Participant profile: Cerchiamo un volontario tra i 20 e i 28 anni, aperto a lavorare con persone con DISABILITÀ. Siamo anche in grado di ospitare giovani con minori opportunità. I volontari devono - essere flessibili, aperti e disposti ad apprendere e condividere abilità e competenze, - avere capacità organizzative per supportare la programmazione e la realizzazione delle attività, - essere autonomi nel lavoro, ma anche far parte di un gruppo, - avere molta energia e alcuni interessi/competenze.

The project is implemented under the European Solidarity Corps Programme, financed by the European Commission.
The participating organisations have to be mindful of these needs as they are responsible for providing a respectful and trusting hosting environment. At the same time, the organisations participating in the initiative devote a great deal of time, energy and resources to set up a high-quality activity; they should therefore expect that European Solidarity Corps participants show a similar level of respect for the local communities and the people that are directly concerned by the activities (https://youth.europa.eu/solidarity/mission_en).
