Materahub is working to support economic and social development by promoting entrepreneurship at all level in Italy and Europe. We focus on enhancing and empowering the creative and cultural sector, young entrepreneurs and all those public and private actors that could be interested in innovation through culture creativity and social values. The volunteers in next months can be involved in: social media management: documentation of activities and updating of websites, project profiles and other info tools; creation of graphic materials, video e photo production; support for EU project management (contact with international partners, planning, organizing and keeping meetings in support of the colleagues); technical support to local stakeholders in applying for European calls through the help desk; planning of meetings and workshops in schools and universities; organizing events to promote EU projects and programs;

About the accommodation
The hosting city Matera has been European Capital of Culture 2019. Volunteers leave in Matera city centre, in a shared flat, hosted in double rooms, not far from the working place. The apartment is self- managed and the volunteer needs to share kitchen and bathroom with other international guests. There is no need for local transportation. As the rule of ESC program the volunteer receives €6 per day for pocket money and €200 for food money, per month. Money sent via banks transfer each month.
About the leisure
The volunteer has the chance to see from inside a consortium who works with European project management, from Regional to International level. Materahub wants to receive a professional, willing to learn volunteer who wants to contribute with his/her knowledge in our growing. Is fundamental that the volunteer speaks good English and has a capacity to learn Italian language. The young person needs to have entrepreneurial skills and the wish to depend knowledge about various topics.

At the same time, the organisations participating in the initiative devote a great deal of time, energy and resources to set up a high-quality activity; they should therefore expect that European Solidarity Corps participants show a similar level of respect for the local communities and the people that are directly concerned by the activities (https://youth.europa.eu/solidarity/mission_en).
