Presentation of the program
Esycu Foundation is looking for 2 ESC volunteers: one person must be a resident of Spain and the other must reside in one of the countries participating in the programme, for a long-term volunteering project in Valencia, Spain. The duration of the project is 10 months and it can start in October 2023.
The project involves collaboration in the socio-educational activities of the different programmes developed by the Esycu Foundation. The work includes supporting the team in various areas: social action, international cooperation, training and counselling, children and youth, and volunteering.
Volunteers will carry out administrative tasks, programme support and communication tasks, and publish news on the website and social media. In the field of social action, volunteers will collaborate with the foundation's staff in social action activities carried out in disadvantaged neighbourhoods of Valencia.
About the accommodation
Accommodation, food and travel are covered up to the limit of costs covered by ESC. The volunteer will also be paid 6 euros per day as pocket money.
The money will be pay to the Spanish bank account that the volunteer will open at his/her arrival to Spain or through bank check.
The volunteers will live in a shared flat with other Young people.
About the leisure
Volunteers have the right and duty to participate in training courses organised by the National Agency. There will be two training courses, an arrival training course and an intermediate training course.
In addition, the volunteer can also benefit from the training courses organised by the Esycu foundation.
Requirements
The Participant profile: 18 - 30 years old Not having participated in any long-term European Voluntary Service or European Solidarity Corps volunteering project (if you have participated in a team volunteering project, you can still apply for this call). No previous convictions for sexual offences (mandatory).
