Presentation of the program

Esycu foundation is looking for 2 ESC volunteers: one person needs to be resident in Spain and other person in one of the countries that participate in the programme, for a long term volunteering project in Valencia, Spain. The duration of the project is 10 months and it can start in the month of October 2026. The project consists of collaboration with the socio-educational activities of the diferent programmes developed by the Esycu foundation. The work involves supporting the team in the different áreas of work : social action, international cooperation, training and counselling, children and youth and volunteering. Volunteers will carry out administrative tasks, programme support and communication tasks, publication of news on the website and social networks. In the field of social action, volunteers collaborate in social action activities.

About the accommodation

Accommodation , food and travel are covered up to the limit of costs covered by ESC. The volunteer will also be paid 6 euros per day as pocket money. The money will be pay to the Spanish bank account that the volunteer will open at his/her arrival to Spain or through bank check. The volunteers will live in a shared flat with other Young people

About the leisure

Volunteers have the right and duty to participate in training courses organised by the National Agency. There will be two training courses, an arrival training course and an intermediate training course. In addition, the volunteer can also benefit from the training courses organised by the Esycu foundation.

Requirements

The Participant profile: This volunteering experience focuses mainly on office-based work, supporting the communication department and project management team. The volunteer will collaborate in tasks such as creating digital content, supporting social media activities, preparing communication materials, carrying out administrative tasks, and helping to promote social and educational projects with both local and international impact. It is a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in the non-profit sector, develop professional skills, and work in an international, dynamic, and socially committed environment. Knowledge of Spanish will be considered an asset, as many of the daily activities involve communication with local organisations, young people, families, and community stakeholders. Motivation to improve Spanish during the experience will also be highly valued. This is a 10-month commitment that requires responsibility, consistency, initiative, and a positive attitude. We are looking for someone willing to become actively involved in the day-to-day life of the organisation, contribute ideas, and grow both personally and professionally. Requirements: Be 18–30 years old. Not have previously participated in any long-term European Voluntary Service (EVS) or European Solidarity Corps volunteering project. Have no previous convictions for sexual offences (mandatory requirement). Interest in communication, social projects, youth work, or non-profit organisation management. Basic digital skills and willingness to learn. Knowledge of Spanish will be considered an advantage. Are you ready for this challenge?
