About the local hosting organization
We are Max and Valery - family of permacultural organic farmers. I founded my homestead at 2011 and since that I continue to develop and enlarge it. Now it is about 8 hectares (about 20 acres). 2 of them is pasture with pond, 3 planted with wine and table grapes, some land planted with orchard-garden, some we use for crop-garden, some for kitchen-garden in raised beds, have a greenhouse. We also plant strawberry, rasberry, blackberry. We also learning and testing such agrotechnologieas permaculture, biodynamic and electroculture. We are making organic cheese, wine, dry and conservate our crop.Our goal is to learn natural eco-friendly agriculture, supply our family with healthy food, to be self-efficient at off-grid environment and to share our knowledge and experience with other good people. My aim is to revive a class of successful farmers (peasants) as a foundation of healthy nation. We also have another projects - craft (wood, stonebrick, steel, campers building), music, tourism (camping) etc.
Presentation of the program
We share our skills and knowledge in eco-life off-grid in different topics - constructing, crafting, soil work, animal care etc. in exchange for your helping labour and work 5 hours a day. Minimal period of volunteering is one week, maximum - one month (maybe more if we fit each other organicly).
About the accommodation
We can offer meal and bed in guesthouse or place for a camping tent (depends on your wish and time of the year).
About the location
Our homestead is situated in the oak forest near with Vedrussia eco-settlement, 40km from Krasnodar and 100km from the Black sea (Novorossiysk), about 7km from several villages and county center.
