Agdz volunteers Without Borders is a youth NGO which was founded in 2015. Idea of organization creation was born during a project of protection environment, that showed us that there is not enough information in our society of young people about availability to learn, understand a develop in non-governmental and volunteering, It aims at having a new-leading and volunteering-future youth generation that would be able to take responsibility in their community. It also aims at enhancing cultural, social, and environmental and health consciousness among the members of society as well as at organizing and enhancing voluntary work among youth. The organization is working on a set of goals that seeks to achieve, including:  The development and organization of voluntary work locally.  Directing voluntary work to serve humanitarian purposes.  Raising the cultural, social, environmental and health awareness among members of the community.  Cooperation with institutions, associations, NGOs and those interested in social development nationally and internationally.  Providing an opportunity for community members to volunteer in the field of public services through education and training  Organizing seminars, workshops and camps.  Providing consultation and advice on voluntary work. Agdz volunteers are working to open up horizons for participants and participants in the organization's international and national programs and activities. On the other hand, he spread the spirit of cooperation, peace and a culture of volunteerism among Moroccan youth and the rest of the world for a better future. The organization work with different background of participants, who are youth workers, social workers, social volunteers, students, professors and social activists, environmentalists etc. We work mostly with people 6 + years old. In our activities. The organization gives priority to enthusiastic participants, focusing on the interest and desire to develop self-knowledge, to promote the concept of civic participation and volunteerism in the community. The organization works on four axes: ✔ Youth: Strengthening and developing the abilities of young people to integrate into society and create their own projects, as well as forming an information bank and young volunteers according to specialization and competence, in line with the organization's objectives. ✔ Women: Support women to develop their life skills and create economic programs through training, framing and mentoring. ✔ Childhood: Refining children's talents, framing them, following them and creating recreational activities for them. ✔ Environment: The oasis is a source of livelihood for both the agricultural and tourism sectors, so it must be taken care of and its importance through workshops and awareness campaigns about the oasis and its role in the environmental balance, especially the biological system. Présentation du programme

Agdz Harmony is a volunteering opportunity under the European Solidarity Corps, available in both short-term and long-term formats. Hosted in Agdz, southeastern Morocco, the project engages volunteers in environmental sustainability, digital literacy, inclusive arts, and cultural exchange. Activities include: organizing educational workshops, teaching computer skills, supporting environmental and cultural initiatives, and engaging in intercultural dialogue. Through these tasks, volunteers will strengthen their personal and professional competences while contributing to the well-being of local communities. To participate, each volunteer must be supported by a sending organisation (LEAD) from their home country, which will coordinate preparation, guidance, and follow-up.

À propos de l'hébergement

Volunteers will be hosted in a private apparemment with equipied kitchen, rooms and bathroom. They will be offered travel assistance since the flight selection untill arrival to the appartement. Volunteers will recieve the Pocket money, food money, travel reimbursment and local transportion money by the Lead organisation.

Exigences

The Participant profile: We are looking for motivated young people aged 18–30 from Europe who are eager to engage in meaningful community work. Candidates should be open-minded, adaptable, and flexible, with a genuine interest in youth empowerment, environmental action, arts, culture, and community engagement. Key qualities include: Ability to work well in a team while also showing initiative and autonomy. Strong intercultural awareness and willingness to adapt to a rural environment. Good communication skills in at least one European language; willingness to learn Arabic or Amazigh is a plus. digital skills (or motivation to learn) to support our literacy and community programs. Above all, we seek enthusiastic individuals ready to contribute actively, grow personally, and embrace cross-cultural learning throughout the volunteering period.
