Présentation du programme
This project promotes education for democratic citizenship, volunteerism, and mutual understanding through diverse activities. It supports NGOs, social economy entities, and local institutions, including schools and socially responsible businesses.International volunteers will lead cultural, sports, and creative workshops (DIY, handcrafts) in youth clubs, while also organizing events to showcase European Solidarity Corps (ESC) opportunities. Cultural Evenings at the city library, exploring a different country each time. Festival Participation, such as LUFA and the Autumn Festival, celebrating local and international culture. Eurocamps for Youth, fostering intercultural exchange and teamwork. Through these initiatives, the project strengthens community ties, encourages active citizenship, and highlights European solidarity—all while making Leszno a more vibrant and inclusive city.
À propos de l'hébergement
Volunteers will get, Pocket money and Food allowance as per ESC Guide (2024), insurance provided from Henner Insurance. They will be accommodated in a shared accommodation with all facilities provided. Volunteers will be Reimbursed or covered for local transport when used for work, as for Reimbursement for travel tickets will be reimbursed according to ESC and Erasmus Guide. We encourage participants to travel GREEN with more days to travel and a higher travel limit.
À propos des loisirs
During the initiation of the project, there will be an Adaptation Week. This period will provide an opportunity to collaborate with an international team, with English as the working language, and an introduction to the Polish language. Participants will develop the ability to engage in conversations in multiple languages. There will be Mentoring session provided to work on Inclusion in Teams Projects, Diversity in personalities and Emotion and meditation. Upon the completion of the mobility program, participants will receive a Youth Pass / ESC Volunteer Diploma.
Exigences
The Participant profile: We’re seeking enthusiastic volunteers with a vibrant, energetic attitude, a passion for working with youth and multi-cultural individuals, and an interest in Human rights and social work or NGO operations. Ideal candidates are creative or artistic (e.g., DIY, crafts), adaptable to new environments, and eager to engage in cultural exchanges—whether through organizing library events, festivals, or camps. They should thrive both independently and in teams, with strong multitasking skills and a commitment to inclusivity. Special encouragement is given to Young Persons with Fewer Opportunities (YPFO) to apply, as we value diverse perspectives and a willingness to learn and grow through this experience.

The participating organisations have to be mindful of these needs as they are responsible for providing a respectful and trusting hosting environment. At the same time, the organisations participating in the initiative devote a great deal of time, energy and resources to set up a high-quality activity; they should therefore expect that European Solidarity Corps participants show a similar level of respect for the local communities and the people that are directly concerned by the activities (https://youth.europa.eu/solidarity/mission_en).
