Présentation du programme

Our school, CMA FORMATION Perpignan Rivesaltes offers curricula in food (bakery, pastry, butchery, delicatessen), hairdressing, dental prosthesis, automotive (mechanics, bodywork), HGV mechanics, agricultural mechanics, sales. As a professional centre we propose a learning environment from CAP (Professional Aptitude Certificate – EQF 3) to BTS (Higher Technician Certificate – EQF 5) to our 1 000 learners aged 16-30 years. Our curricula include internships abroad and we benefit from the support of the Erasmus + Programme to create a good environment for our learners to discover Europe. In this context, the volunteer will be engaged in the following activities: - Promote Europe, its values and mobility opportunities for our learners through cultural, linguistic or culinary activities... - Help our learners to prepare their stay abroad by the means of workshops - Create innovative tools to promote mobility (e.g.escape game)…

À propos de l'hébergement

Located in the South of France, Rivesaltes is a small town halfway between Montpellier and Barcelona, where you will find, historic towns and villages, open spaces in the Catalonian Pyrénées to enjoy summer and winter outdoor activities, the Mediterranean seaside and its local traditions. We will take care of of the logistical aspects: accommodation, local transport (bus), food arrangement, pocket money. The flat or the student residence should be fully equipped and located near public transports and shops.

À propos des loisirs

Regular collective and individual meetings will be organized: welcome meeting within the organisations on arrival; seminar on arrival and mid-term organised by the National Agency ; one meeting per month with the tutor ; informal integration times with a mentor ; weekly team meeting ; review meeting at the end of the project (Youthpass, skills, ...).

Exigences

The Participant profile: We look for a volunteer preferably between 18 and 25 years old: Knowledge of French (speaking, understanding, writing B2) Knowledge of English appreciated Motivation to work with a young audience Relational and communication skills Able to work individually and in a team Motivated, open-minded, flexible, proactive Driving licence (optional)

The project is implemented under the European Solidarity Corps Programme, financed by the European Commission.
The participating organisations have to be mindful of these needs as they are responsible for providing a respectful and trusting hosting environment.
