Présentation du programme
The volunteer mission will be carried out first in the city of Jerada, and secondly in the Al Haouz region in schools with children who were victims of the earthquake. The work will take place from Monday to Friday.
The first axis of the project, with a lenght of 4 months, is intended to prepare specific activities for the psychological support of children victims of the earthquake. In this axis, volunteers carry out participatory workshops on activity proposals and tools to be available to intervene in the field.
The second axis of the project, that lasts the other 6 months, will be used to highlight the action plan for children in the intervention locations, carrying out activities with the children.
À propos de l'hébergement
The volunteers will stay in apartments shared with another volunteers, and they will have their own room.
The local transport to go to the work sites will be provided by ISAAF.
The volunteers will receive 10 EUR per day as food money, and they will receive 500 EUR per month as pocket money.
À propos des loisirs
The volunteers will receive training before arrival and upon arrival in order to receive information about the conditions of our association in the region and the workplace as well as the living conditions and security measures. This is to facilitate their adaptation to the local context and culture.
The volunteers will also receive ongoing training and support during the first phase of their projects.
Exigences
The Participant profile: We are seeking dynamic, compassionate, and motivated individuals who are passionate about education.
Age: 18–35
Open-minded, adaptable, and culturally sensitive
Background or strong interest in education, community work, social work, or child development
Experience in teaching, facilitation, or youth work is an advantage, but not mandatory
Willing to engage in teamwork and clear, respectful communication.
