À propos de l'organisme d'accueil local

Arousa Moza was founded in May 2017 by a group of young people interested in contributing and helping to society, especially to the youngsters, with local and international projects and events. So, we are a youth association born to promote in the young people our own and new culture, other constructive and healthy ways of leisure and the importance of knowing people and countries with different backgrounds and experiences. At the same time, we are aware of the need to protect the environment and the significance to promote the own heritage. For all these reasons, Arousa Moza try to create new opportunities to the youngsters, fighting against intolerance, hate, exclusion, etc. The main part of our projects is focused in develop creativity through arts, team building games…. Moreover, we organize often workshops to provide our youngsters with new and useful tools, for example, to increase their chances for finding a job or to raise awareness about our duty with the community and the society. Arousa Moza team is composed of active volunteers, aged between 16 and 30 years old, and with experience in different fields: arts, entrepreneurship, non-formal education, law, environment, etc. Also, the most part of our volunteers have experience in Erasmus + projects, and therefore, they have a big knowledge about other cultures, people with different backgrounds, international projects… Now, our main aims are: a) To energize the youth life in the region of Salnés. b) To increase the interest on the historic and environmental heritage. c) To promote the youth proactivity. d) To enhance the youth participation in sociocultural activities. e) To defend the multiculturalism. f) To promote healthy behaviours. g) To encourage the mobility and the creation of new associations. In this order, to carry out these objectives, Arousa Moza is focused on: 1º. To organize cultural, sports and educational activities, included outdoor and ecological activities like excursions, camps and workshops. 2º. To organize formative activities, like courses, seminaries, public debates, round tables, talks and conferences, and activities related with the exchange of knowledge, other cultures and languages. 3º. To participate and organize (hosting and sending) mobility activities and with youth workers, and also, in international programs. 4º. To make agreements with public and private institutions, in order to get our aims. 5º. To develop proposals about politics and programs related with childhood, youth, health, education, environment and volunteering, that the public administrations promote. On the other hand, although we are a very young organization, we already have experience in different areas. So, we have organized Erasmus + projects in our own country, collaborating with NGOs from Poland, Romania and other countries. Additionally, we have carried out many local projects, aimed at children, teenagers, etc. But, moreover, we are open to any suggestion or request from the community or other local and regional organizations. For this reason, we have collaborated in other events with the city council and feminist and pro LGTBI organizations… Finally, we have to say that we always try to disseminate and promote the results of our work (participation or organization of Erasmus + projects, training courses, local events, etc.). With this objective, we carry out an important work in social networks, sharing all the information. In conclusion, Arousa Moza has a fantastic team, is growing quickly and taking part in the community in a positive way.

Présentation du programme

This volunteering project offers young people the opportunity to engage in solidarity activities that foster personal growth, intercultural learning, and community impact. Volunteers will collaborate in teams and individually, contributing to initiatives that promote inclusion, diversity, environmental sustainability, and active citizenship. Through hands-on experiences, participants will gain new skills, broaden their perspectives, and bring back innovative ideas to their local communities. The project emphasizes green practices, respect for EU values, and encourages youth participation in democratic life. It is designed to empower volunteers, support their professional and personal development, and create long-lasting positive changes for both the participants and the hosting community.

The apartments are fully equipped to ensure a comfortable stay. Local transport costs are fully covered, and to encourage sustainable mobility, volunteers will also have access to the municipal bike service, making it easier to move around the city.

Informations complémentaires

The project is implemented under the European Solidarity Corps Programme, financed by the European Commission.
The participating organisations have to be mindful of these needs as they are responsible for providing a respectful and trusting hosting environment. At the same time, the organisations participating in the initiative devote a great deal of time, energy and resources to set up a high-quality activity; they should therefore expect that European Solidarity Corps participants show a similar level of respect for the local communities and the people that are directly concerned by the activities (https://youth.europa.eu/solidarity/mission_en).
