Asamblea Permanente de Derechos Humanos de Bolivia (APDHB) is a democratic and pluralistic organization, with no religious or political affiliation. Its main aim is to contribute to the building of a democratic culture with respect and tolerance.
Présentation du programme
Our main activities include:
- Helping and advising
- Seminars and workshops about the citizen human rights and rights in general
- Fight against the impunity of state authorities’ crimes like torture, corruption, etc.
- Solving thesocial and trade unions problems.
The work in this organization is focused in the office, but the volunteer may directly work with the people as well. The volunteer can also help in the library, reading and classifying newspapers provide technical support if they have studied that or have any skills reagrding computers. Also, if the volunteer has any backgournd in legal, psychological, and research areas they will be of great support. Organizing seminars or workshops is also expected form them.
Exigences
It is preferable that the person who is going to work in Human Rights has studied or has some experience in the area, but the project is open to a person who may not have the experience but has a strong intrest in the area. Patience, motivation and creativity are very important. It is very important that the volunteer knows that most of the work is in the office.
