The association called >, hereinafter referred to as the LAG Banat-West or the association, is a legal person governed by private law with nonpatrimonial purpose, independent, apolitical, established with the purpose of implementation of the Axis 4 LEADER from the National Program for Rural Development (NPRD) in the territory of the association, as a whole, and at the level of each of the 11 local administrative units (LAU), represented in the association, in particular through the development and the implementation of an integrated strategy for the local development, promoting partnerships of public-private partnerships, and the interconnection of local partnerships, cooperation between the local action groups (hereinafter referred to as the LAG’s), at regional, national and European level with a view to sustainable development and improved local governance through involvement and participation of the members of the communities represented by the LAG Banat-West to the process of local development. The purpose of the association is to develop the area of the localities included in this association by developing and implementing an integrated Local Development Strategy by managing European non-reimbursable funds in order to increase the competitiveness of the agricultural sector, improve the environment and the rural area, implicitly, the increase of the quality of life and the diversification of economic activities in the territory represented by the association.
Présentation du programme
Colours of Solidarity - The team-volunteering project run through the European Solidarity Corps and coordinated by LAG Banat‑Vest. For nearly two months, volunteer teams with basic painting skills refurbish kindergartens and schools across the Banat-Vest region. Guided by local educators and artists, they apply fresh coats of paint and create simple murals on classrooms, corridors, and playground walls, so children return to brighter, more welcoming spaces in the new school year.
À propos de l'hébergement
Volunteers will be accommodated in a school dormitory in Jimbolia. Accommodation is shared, with basic but comfortable living conditions suitable for group life. The dormitory includes access to common spaces and a kitchen, as well as free Wi-Fi. The project is funded by the European Solidarity Corps. Volunteers receive: Pocket money (4 EUROS/day); Food allowance (5 EUROS/day); Travel cost reimbursement according to ESC distance bands; Health insurance provided through the ESC programme.
Exigences
The Participant profile: The project is open to young people aged between 18 and 30 who are motivated to take part in a hands-on cultural project.
Volunteers should be open-minded, flexible and willing to work as part of an international team.
A minimum intermediate level of English is required, as English will be the working language of the group and will be used for coordination, teamwork and interaction with visitors.
