Association based in Italy, we work with Erasmus; ESC; CERV etc. to empower youth in rural areas
PiGreco-SEMI is an organisation which supports the development of young people in the local community boosting their learning skills and developing their approach to problem solving, therefore improving their self-empowerment and critical thinking with formal, non formal and innovative education tools.
We hold a ESC lead accreditation and Erasmus+ KA1 accreditation.

Présentation du programme
6 months of creative and community-based volunteering with the Siena Art Institute ETS. Activities include creating media content, supporting events and workshops, engaging in community gardening, practicing language exchange, and assisting with social media and outreach. A great opportunity to grow personally and contribute to a vibrant cultural scene.

À propos de l'hébergement
"Volunteers' accommodation is provided by the Siena Art Institute, with all utilities included. The apartment is
located in the centre of Siena (20 minutes walk from the school).
Volunteers will be accommodated in double rooms (fully furnished) with a shared bathroom and all facilities. Wifi is included. Volunteers will be assisted in activating Italian SIM cards to access data if required.
Volunteers will be responsible for the daily cleaning of the rooms and common areas. Volunteers will be responsible for daily rubbish disposal
according to the instructions of the host."
À propos des loisirs
All the volunteers will receive task specific training, weekly communication workshops and they will be enrolled in On Arrival and Mid Term Evaluation training. The volunteers will be furnished with the access to Language learning platform.
Exigences
The Participant profile: We are looking for motivated young people (18–30 years old) from ESC participating countries, who are: Passionate about art, community work, storytelling, and sustainability Open-minded and eager to engage with people from different backgrounds Comfortable working in a team and independently Basic knowledge of English (Italian is a plus but not required) Interested in contributing their creativity and energy to local impact.

The project is implemented under the European Solidarity Corps Programme, financed by the European Commission.
The participating organisations have to be mindful of these needs as they are responsible for providing a respectful and trusting hosting environment. At the same time, the organisations participating in the initiative devote a great deal of time, energy and resources to set up a high-quality activity; they should therefore expect that European Solidarity Corps participants show a similar level of respect for the local communities and the people that are directly concerned by the activities (https://youth.europa.eu/solidarity/mission_en).
