The Town Hall of Lannion which counts 20.000 citizens is a public organism. Within the Town Hall of Lannion there are several departments including : administrative service (birth, marriage certificate...), Child and Youth services (nurseries, day care centre...), Sport service (sport clubs, insfrastructures...), Culture (media library, cultural events...), Social measures (financial, retirement home...)
Présentation du programme
As part of the development and promotion of international mobility, the town of Lannion is looking for 2 European Volunteers (via the European Solidarity Corps – CES). The volunteers will carry out their mission within the town of Lannion, as members of the Youth Department (working with 15-25 year olds). The town of Lannion: Lannion is a medium-sized municipality (≈ 20,000 inhabitants) located on the north coast of Brittany. It hosts about 4,000 students every year. The Youth Department : Its objectives are to inform and guide young people from 15 to 25 years of age, to enhance the potential of young people and to promote the voice of the youth in the life of the municipality.The missions : To promote international mobility and the notion of a gap year among young people aged 15 to 25/To create and organize workshops about various mobility schemes and ways to travel.

Room in a newly renovated flat shared with 3 other European volunteers; Shared office with other volunteers at Espace Sainte Anne (equipped with a PC), Lannion; Free lunches from Monday to Friday; electric bike available during the mission; If driving licence - possibility to use the town's car;
À propos des loisirs
Weekly individual French language classes;
First Aid training;
Other trainings offered by the Youth Department;
Some work trips locally and on French level will be offered during the mission
Exigences
The Participant profile: We're looking for someone who is motivated to work with and for young people aged 15 to 25, and who wants to immerse themselves in a new culture. An intermediate level of French is strongly recommended. A driving licence (valid in France) is recommended as well. Please send your application at [email protected].
