Présentation du programme
Coop. soc. Kara Bobowski is looking for 3 volunteers to be hosted in Modigliana (Italy), to work in a residential center for PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES.
Our main aim is INCLUSION, and we host also young people with fewer opportunities.
The volunteer will be part of a team of 6 long-term volunteers from different nationalities.
In the residential center for people with disabilities there will be a team of 2 volunteers, working on the morning or afternoon shift, 5 days a week.
The volunteers will support the staff with the daily activities like creativity, games, gardening, music, reading, walking, eating, cooking workshop, and so on.
It will be giving the possibility to create new activities connected with the volunteer's interests or hobby.
À propos de l'hébergement
The volunteers will share a room with another volunteer from the same gender, in an apartment dedicated to host all volunteers (max. 5 people), with 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a living room and kitchen.
The accommodation is completed furnished with all necessary, and free of charge for the volunteer.
It will be given food allowance and pocket money, monthly.

Volunteers will have different training moments:
- pre-departure preparation,
- on arrival group training,
- task related (connected with the target group needs),
- language course (online for all the mobility and in-person the first month),
- On Arrival Training and Mid-term evaluation organised by the Italian National Agency.
Exigences
The Participant profile: We are searching for 1 volunteer between 20 and 28 years old, from an EU Country, with no specific training, but with openess to work with PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES.
We are able also to host young people with fewer opportunities.
Volunteers should be flexible, openminded and willing to learn and share their abilities and competences.
Being able to work in authonomy, making part of a multicultural team.

The project is implemented under the European Solidarity Corps Programme, financed by the European Commission.
The participating organisations have to be mindful of these needs as they are responsible for providing a respectful and trusting hosting environment. At the same time, the organisations participating in the initiative devote a great deal of time, energy and resources to set up a high-quality activity; they should therefore expect that European Solidarity Corps participants show a similar level of respect for the local communities and the people that are directly concerned by the activities (https://youth.europa.eu/solidarity/mission_en).
