La Fédération Départementale des Maisons des Jeunes et de la Culture des Côtes d’Armor (FDMJC 22) est une association qui fédère 4 MJC locales. La FDMJC est associée à la Fédération Régionale des MJC (FRMJC), elle-même affiliée à la CMJCF. La FRMJC rassemble vingt-neuf MJC sur les départements du Finistère, de l’Ille et Vilaine, des Côtes d’Armor sur la région Bretagne et en Pays de Loire sur les départements de Loire Atlantique, Sarthe et Maine et Loire. Aujourd’hui, les deux réseaux historiques des MJC travaillent à une convergence, qui permettra la création unique d’un seul réseau des MJC au niveau national. Ce réseau de professionnel·les et bénévoles est une richesse et un appui pour l’équipe de la fédération. Les salarié·es de la FDMJC et de la FRMJC forment une seule et même équipe. L'équipe professionnelle est composée d’une directrice, d’un chargé de mission sur l’accompagnement des directions sur les Ressources Humaines, responsable de la formation DESJEPS, d’une coordinatrice de réseau et responsable d’une formation DEJEPS, d’une coordinatrice en charge de la jeunesse de l’animation de réseau, des outils pédagogiques et de la formation bénévole, d’une coordinatrice en charge de l’animation de réseau et de l’international, d’un animateur en alternance, d’une coordinatrice administrative, d’une responsable financière. À l’équipe de salarié·es, s’ajoute l'équipe bénévole composée des administrateur·rices des MJC. L’organigramme de la structure se trouve en pièce jointe. C’est dans ce cadre, que la FDMJC anime et coordonne le volet international avec les MJC bretonnes : sur l’organisation de séjours, d’échanges de jeunes, l’accueil et l’envoi de volontaires dans le cadre du Corps Européen de Solidarité et l’échange de pratiques professionnelles. Avec l’ensemble de l’équipe pédagogique, elle participe aussi à l’animation des collectifs des professionnel·les, animateur·rices , coordinateur·rices, directeur·rices et bénévoles du réseau des MJC.

At a secondary school (approximately 950 students), the volunteer will offer cultural and intercultural activities to high school students, lead student and CVL initiatives focused on international outreach and intercultural discovery, facilitate school activities in a foreign language, organize field trips, exhibitions, and connections with organizations that promote mobility, raise student awareness of European and international mobility, and assist students in finding international mobility opportunities. They may also interact with international students at the school. Outside of class hours, they will provide language support. This includes assisting with exchange programs, for example. The CVL (Club de Vie Lycéenne) is now a hub for exchange and coordination. The volunteer will bring a dimension of cultural activities and international outreach by leading initiatives—in collaboration with the school’s student life office—based on their own ideas and those

Lunch will be provided by the school. A roommate will be selected from among the other volunteers, in collaboration with the coordinating organization, FDMJC22.

The school already offers French as a foreign language courses to international students who come here to study.

The Participant profile: The volunteer will be selected based on their motivation to join the project, their ability to proactively lead a group of students and take initiative in cultural and international contexts, and their willingness to participate in a collective effort to bring together a group of young people around a project that may (or may not) have motivated them personally. Their ability to assist high school students with language and academic support will also be taken into account.

The project is implemented under the European Solidarity Corps Programme, financed by the European Commission.
The participating organisations have to be mindful of these needs as they are responsible for providing a respectful and trusting hosting environment. At the same time, the organisations participating in the initiative devote a great deal of time, energy and resources to set up a high-quality activity; they should therefore expect that European Solidarity Corps participants show a similar level of respect for the local communities and the people that are directly concerned by the activities (https://youth.europa.eu/solidarity/mission_en).
