Présentation du programme

Please, make sure that you read the info pack before applying 😉 https://canva.link/gbknvzpi53uwn7i We offer a 10 months volunteering on environmental facilitation from September 2026 to mid/end of June 2027 in Coutances, Normandy, France. The volunteer will participate in the AVRIL organisation’s activities : environmental education and sustainable development. They will discover the nature in Normandy. The missions are to : sensitize about the Environment, Climate change and eco-citizenship, raise awareness about international mobility and interculturality, promote the ECS, be part of projects, create pedagogical tools Your specific mission will be focused on taking care of the local natural garden (ex : plant and experiment with the garden, create tools to senzitise about it, create events...) À propos de l'hébergement

You will receive the money for the food and cook in the kitchen of the flat, 10 euros per day for food and 8 euros per day as pocket money. You will have your own room, in a lodge on a farm, close to the City called le Domaine de la Guérie in Coutances. The bus stop that can lead you to the organisation is 5mn walking from the farm. You will be lent an electrical bike The housing has all the regular facilities (burners, fridge, microwave, washing machine near by, wifi) Shops are 5-10mn by bike, the organization is 15-20mn You get 2 days off/month of holidays that you can accumulate

À propos des loisirs

Training will be done during the volunteering. The first few weeks will focus on getting to know the organisation, the team, the work, the surroundings in order for the volunteer to find their place. Surrounded by a team of professionals, we are always here to help and to share with the volunteer. French lessons provided by a local volunteer You will go to an arrival and mid term seminar with other volunteers

The project is implemented under the European Solidarity Corps Programme, financed by the European Commission.
The participating organisations have to be mindful of these needs as they are responsible for providing a respectful and trusting hosting environment. At the same time, the organisations participating in the initiative devote a great deal of time, energy and resources to set up a high-quality activity; they should therefore expect that European Solidarity Corps participants show a similar level of respect for the local communities and the people that are directly concerned by the activities (https://youth.europa.eu/solidarity/mission_en).
