The Maison de l'Europe de l'Eure is a regional association that provides information about the European Union, its institutions, news and the opportunities it offers. We have also been a Europe Direct Information Center since 2009, a label issued by the European Commission. The aim of the Maison de l'Europe de l'Eure is to bring European citizens closer to the institutions and to strengthen the feeling of European citizenship. We operate in the region around various themes, with the aim of adding a touch of Europe to your daily life. Besides providing information about the EU and its opportunities, we are working closely with youngsters in order to give the idea of European mobility. We create and participate in the European projects and help the other associations to benefit these opportunities, create their own projects and collaborate with us. We strive to get as close as possible to the public, by animating and creating projects in everyday places. You can meet with us in the markets, the forums, the schools, the social centers, and on the social networks. Our missions : - We support your European mobility projects: ( advice, appointments, meetings, etc.) - Maison de l’Europe de l’Eure gives information about European news and opportunities. - We work with different structures and schools to promote the feeling of European citizenship. - European project help desk We are now solid partners of the Normandy Region as well as of our host city, Evreux. We have extended our field of action and have, over the years, established agreements with other neighbouring towns in which we intervene regularly: Louviers, Conches-en-Ouche, Verneuil d'Avre et d'Iton and Gaillon. Moreover, the the elected representatives of the city of Evreux have also decided to support the MDE27 throughout the agglomeration by We are currently an active member of all European and international networks such as the Collectif Normands and Europeans since 2018, the "Normanbilité" network which brings together mobility actors in Normandy. We work with large structures such as the Fédération des Maisons Familiales et Rurales (21 houses), the Fédération Française des Maisons de l'Europe and the Missions Locales. We have always taken care to maintain our relations with the other Europe Direct, the InfoJeunesse/Eurodesk network and the Entreprise Europe Network (CCI Normandie). We thus ensure a network of the territory and an effective work in good and efficient work with all of them. For several years now, we have been consolidating our links with the French State, in particular on Youth, Popular Education and Women's Rights. Thus, during the launch of the Service National Universel, they did not hesitate to call on our skills to boost their programme. Besides providing information about the EU and its opportunities, we are working closely with youngsters in order to give the idea of European mobility. The program ensures the accommodation and expenses for electricity, water. The accommodation will be in Evreux city center close to our office and central station so that everything is accessible by foot. - Health insurance for the whole period of the project - When your tasks require it: covering your local transport costs; - travel expenses according to distance calculator of EU.

An on-arrival training will be set up. The volunteer will also have trainings with the employees of Maison de l'Europe. Our workers will make the participant take part of the National Agency's seminars and the informal days of gathering organized by our partners.

The Participant profile: We are looking for participant interested in youth mobility, European Union, intercultural exchanges. Our activities can target youth, students, and adults. We often do interventions in schools and youth centers, we also tend to have an important presence on social medias. We talk about various topics : environment, women's rights, international mobility, managing projects, languages, etc... We are looking for someone who is curious and motivated and would like to share his/her experience.
