Présentation du programme

We are searching for an ESC volunteer to support us in our daily tasks promoting mobility and organising local and international activities. This means: sharing your experience and promoting volunteering, ESC and Erasmus+ opportunities giving talks in highschools and youth centres; providing information about international mobility in the Youth Information Center; supporting the office team on administrative tasks (searching and contacting partners, preparing documents, writing and answering emails); supporting and hosting pre-departure meetings for sending local youngsters to projects abroad; contributing to the creation and implementation of youth international projects; being involved in La Víbria daily activities: local events, activities in schools, activities related to interculturality, introducing educational games to other youth workers and much more

À propos de l'hébergement

You will be living in a fully equipped flat in the central area of Terrassa shared with other ESC volunteers. Some rooms are private, some shared with another person. Depending on the flat, it will be 15/20 minutes by walk from the office. Some bikes will be available to use. Working hours: 27h per week, Monday to Friday (2 homeoffice) + 3h of Catalan class per week. Weekends are normally free, except for some occasions when we participate in local activities or host international projects. À propos des loisirs

The volunteer, during the project, will learn, practice and gain: knowledge of a wide range of youth mobility opportunities; discover all the steps of the implementation of a youth international project locally(from the idea to the realisation); about all the phases of project management; new digital tools; public speaking and leadership skills while preparing talks and facilitating NFE activities; the use of tools and methodologies of non-formal education to work with youth; Catalan lessons during all the stay; On-arrival and Mid-term training provided by the Spanish National Agency.

Exigences

The Participant profile: We are looking for someone with some knowledge about the Erasmus+ program (has been involved in similar organisation or has participated in some experiences abroad like YE, TC, TEAM ESC); Some skills for facilitation, gamifying activities and non-formal education or is highly motivated to learn; Creativity and open to develop new ideas in a team; likes to speak in public; Motivation to learn Catalan; Flexible and opened to contribute and work with very different tasks; Prepared and with the patience to work many hours also on the computer; Ready and open to work in a multicultural team.
