Présentation du programme
Jules Lesven high school is a general, technological and professional high school with 1400 pupils.
Volunteer's activities: The 2 ESC volunteers will help the pedagogical team to organize/develop/lead projects and workshops, in the high school or outside. At the student common house, the volunteers will have to organize projects with pupils about environmental and citizenship awareness to give life to this space. At the Cafeteria, a pupil’s dedicated space, the volunteers will, with the pupils, sell food and drinks, spread a playlist, decorate it, etc. to give life to this space.
Last but not least, the volunteers will have to organise key moments:
- thematical weeks on Health, environmental awareness, equality, European countries, etc.
- tournaments (ping-pong, football, etc.)
À propos de l'hébergement
The volunteer will be accommodated in a furnished studio flat in a youth accommodation centre, in Brest city centre.
Food: we give each month 240 € for all food expenditures but it's also possible to get lunch at the centre, for free.
Transports: we will give a monthly subscription for the bus network. Good to know: the hosting organisation is in Saint-Renan, 15 km far from Brest (around 40 minutes by bus). The volunteer will take the bus to go from the accommodation place to the MFR. The bus stop is next to the accommodation centre.
