À propos de l'organisme d'accueil local
Assel Don Bosco Center offers space for reflection, education and relaxation to young people and adults who are committed to youth and young people. Youth work has been going on here for more than 50 years carried out for children and young people with fewer opportunities. Don Bosco Youthnet Netherlands (DBYn-NL) was located in Rijswijk 10 years ago and had been active there for more than 10 years with international programs within EVS/ESC, in close collaboration with Don Bosco Rijswijk. DBYn-NL has been less active for several years (including due to the corona), but with the arrival of an old and new staff member, we hope to design and develop a number of very nice projects for young people with fewer opportunities in collaboration with Assel Don Bosco Center in 2024 to be carried out. We have many short and experienced long-term projects up close and guided several hundred young people in our work. Our employees all have experience in working with European youth and the responsible people within the organization attended various Nji training courses and meetings.
Présentation du programme
This ESC project offers a unique opportunity, a great learning experience to make difference in your life and the lives of the other. Our focus is on inclusion (helping everyone feel part of the community) and sustainability (caring for the environment).
Activities:
· Youth Work: Help organize and run activities and workshops for young people at a youth center in Apeldoorn and the Don Bosco center in Assel.
· Environmental Projects: Work in a biological garden (manuel work), help to maintain the forest, and take part in eco-friendly projects to promote sustainability.
· International Events: Participate in and help to plan and organize international youth exchanges and cultural events.
· Support for Inclusion: Work with young people from different backgrounds, especially those facing challenges, to help them feel included and supported.
You’ll be part of a team that consists Salesians of Don Bosco and youth workers and volunteers.
