MOTA is an association for circus arts and an invitation to all people, who are enthusiastic and curious about movement. Our offer is aimed at children and young people, as well as adults, aspirants and professionals. All activities take place in the CircusTrainingsCentrum (CTC), a fully equipped circus tent in the middle of the city of Salzburg. MOTA inspires joy in movement and the discovery of one's own abilities. For those who enjoy showing what they have learned, there are opportunities at events and stage performances. Circus offers a unique quality of the combination of movement, art and creativity. Everyone finds his or her space, can develop individual skills and at the same time strengthen self-confidence and team spirit. accompanying and supporting children, young people and adults in developing their skills and competencies promotion of local circus talents networking & exchange at national and international level network & platform for circus artists and enthusiasts connection between art & movement weekly training for children, young people and adults in the field of circus arts, dance and Moto-pedagogy; education in various circus disciplines artists meetings (“Artistiktreff”) family circus workshops summer circus weeks in the city and province of Salzburg cooperation with schools, kindergartens attending acrobatics and juggling conventions at home and abroad biennial closing event / presentation on a theatre stage school projects youth exchanges / encounters

We have tasks for you in: Circus Training & Workshop Assistant assistance in circus activities for children & young people implementation of your own workshop blocks assistance during trips to camps, festivals & shows Social Media collecting & publishing materials on our social media channels documentation of the foundation´s activities preparation of reports (videos/interviews) What you should bring: Interest in circus, movement & physical activity Enjoys engaging with kids & young people supporting their development Creativity, independence & fresh ideas for acts & activities Communication skills & flexibility with working hours & open to the unpredictability of the non-profit sector Enjoyment in working with a team & young people

What we provide: accomodation in a student dormitory or shared flat city transport card Mota-Citybike pocket money in the amount of € 180,- per month funds for meals in the amount of € 250,- per month reimbursment of travel costs for the project and return support from the project coordinator, mentor and tutor health insurance Project times: max. 35 h per week

The Participant profile: We are looking for people from EU countries and partner countries of European Solidarity Corps Program who are: 18 to 30 years of age want to take up the challenge of 12-month volunteering in Austria interested in working on circus workshops, cultural events, primarily with children and young people, ready to experience self-reliance in daily life ready to volunteer for the organisation´s activities

The project is implemented under the European Solidarity Corps Programme, financed by the European Commission.
The participating organisations have to be mindful of these needs as they are responsible for providing a respectful and trusting hosting environment. At the same time, the organisations participating in the initiative devote a great deal of time, energy and resources to set up a high-quality activity; they should therefore expect that European Solidarity Corps participants show a similar level of respect for the local communities and the people that are directly concerned by the activities (https://youth.europa.eu/solidarity/mission_en).
