À propos de l'organisme d'accueil local
Non-Formal Education and Youth Work Association is a non-governmental organization established in 2013 in Mugla. Our association carries out events, training, seminars and projects with the mission of delivering youth and volunteer work to large masses, spreading awareness of social responsibility and developing innovative non-formal education methods. Our aim is to enable young people to spend their free time efficiently and to popularize the use of non-formal education methods in their personal development processes. In line with this purpose, our corporate goals are listed below.
- To increase the diversity and impact of youth work
- To spread volunteering and e-volunteering activities
- To produce and develop non-formal education methods
- To conduct R&D studies in the field of innovative education implementations
- To provide equal opportunities in education and youth work
- To facilitate the access of disadvantaged young people to youth and non-formal education activities
- To ensure that young people in rural areas benefit from youth opportunities
- To prepare the appropriate ground for young people to keep up with technological developments
- To include young people in decision-making mechanisms
Our target group is young people between the ages of 13 and 30. Our association provides suitable environments where young people can discover themselves, express their ideas freely, realize their dreams and contribute to their personal development to the maximum extent.
Présentation du programme
Volunteers who will be included in our ESC project will support the youth work carried out within our association. They will increase the efficiency of the works with their contributions to our activities. It will enable our work to gain an international dimension, thus attracting more young people.
Our ESC volunteers will join our activities 5 days a week within our association. Volunteers, who will help the activities within the scope of the draft program of approximately 35 hours, will support our activities in line with their knowledge and skills.
Below are the activities that volunteers will participate in on a weekly basis.

À propos de l'hébergement
Accommodation will be in the form of flats or apartments. To increase cultural interaction, ESC volunteers will be able to share homes with local volunteers or students. The apartments will be designed to be fully furnished and with all necessary tools. Kitchenware, electrical appliances, white goods etc will be provided free of charge.
There will be a kitchen in the volunteers' homes. Volunteers will be able to cook their own meals at home.
The card for local transportation required for participation in the activities will be provided free of charge to the participants.
Exigences
The Participant profile: We are looking for 18-30 aged young people who are prone to project themes, can share the information they have learned, are highly motivated, can express themselves easily, have volunteering experience, have high communication skills, are open to different views, and have a disadvantaged background.

The participating organisations have to be mindful of these needs as they are responsible for providing a respectful and trusting hosting environment.
