Présentation du programme

The lycée d’Altitude in Briançon is looking for an european volunteer ! You will take part in the school daily life by organising activities as : - Propose cultural workshops to the boarding students. - Help the students organize solidarity actions. - Participate in outdoor activities with the pupils (sport events, cultural events) - Help linguistic teachers to implement cultural activities. -Help organize ecological workshops. -Prepare the «green week» and ecological activities every week -Document the school life (taking photos, writting articles, etc).

À propos de l'hébergement

You would have you own room with a little kitchen, with a balcony in front of the mountain, in this same corridor there are 3 linguistic assistants and one italian volunteer. You will share the bathroom with them. 400 euros / month Meals can be taken at the cantine for lunch 30 hours / week from monday until friday Holidays must be taken during the school holidays

2 trainings facilitated by Hors Pistes, the coordinating organization (on arrival and mid-term) 2 trainings organised by the National Agency Erasmus + (on arrival and mid-term)

Exigences

The Participant profile: No experiences or educational background required. Some basic in french will be appreciated. Interest in volunteering within a school ! Note : Briançon is a small town near mountains, you’ll enjoy your life out there if you like hiking and nature!

The project is implemented under the European Solidarity Corps Programme, financed by the European Commission.
The participating organisations have to be mindful of these needs as they are responsible for providing a respectful and trusting hosting environment. At the same time, the organisations participating in the initiative devote a great deal of time, energy and resources to set up a high-quality activity; they should therefore expect that European Solidarity Corps participants show a similar level of respect for the local communities and the people that are directly concerned by the activities (https://youth.europa.eu/solidarity/mission_en).
