Présentation du programme

The library serves the inhabitants of Przasnysz town and its neighbourhood. It performs the traditional role of a library and conducts activities in the field of culture and education aimed at different age groups. Volunteers will be supporting the staff in preparation and running activities aimed at the readers and inhabitants. They will create content and manage the social media such as TikTok and Instagram. They will also have an opportunity to realize their own initiatives, especially the ones adding intercultural dimension. Examples of tasks: - supporting events such as excursions, workshops, concerts; - organizing educational activities such as language cafes and meetings at high school, handicraft and STEM workshops; - promoting reading, organizing meetings with children; - taking photos and creating videos for Facebook, Tiktok and YouTube; - in summer, the volunteers can lead a workcamp; Infopack: https://www.spw.ngo/przasnysz-infopack

À propos de l'hébergement

- Accommodation: Studio flat shared with one more volunteer of the same gender - Location: The project is located in Pułtusk, a town of 19 thousands inhabitants, located in northern Masovia. Pułtusk is located around 60km north from Warsaw and has a bus connection (around 1h 10 min by bus) - Food: Each volunteer receives 150 EUR per month and is cooking on their own in the flat - Pocket money: 180 EUR/month - International travel: reimbursement up to 211 EUR, 309 EUR or 395 EUR depending on the distance* - Language support: online language course (EU Academy) provided

- Orientation training (coordinating organization): introduction to the project, getting to know the cooridinators and the organization, integration with other volunteers and mentors, planning - On-arrival training (National Agency): Getting to know Poland, ESC introduction (5 days) - Mid-term evaluation meeting (National Agency, 5 days) - Final evaluation (coordinating organization) - Evaluation meetings/trainings (coordinating organization): intercultural education, learning, cultural adaptation, communication (once every two months)
