Présentation du programme

Project will have THREE main kind of activities: SOCIAL FARM:aimed at promoting disadvantaged people’s rehabilitation, care and/or the integration of people with ‘low contractual capacity’ (i.e.: psycho-physical disabilities, drug addicts, minors, emigrants). The special added value of social farming is the possibility for disadvantaged people to being integrated in a living context, where their personal potential may be valued and enhanced. DAILY CENTER WITH DISABLE PEOPLE The daily center is created for people with mental disability (children and adults). Every working day the volunteers have a chance to participate in man kinds of activity: manual art and do it yourself activities (make decorations, figures, painting etc.); recycling and kitchen workshop (participating in every step of preparing meals for the group, and getting to know even Italian cuisine better when cooking together MIGRATION CENTER activity with migrants adults and children in a daily center or houses.

À propos de l'hébergement

The accommodation has got all the facilities and comforts; a shared kitchen; SINGLE rooms. Breakfast and other meals will be organized by the volunteers, as well as meals for the free days and holidays, and for this will be given a food allowance each month. Volunteers receive a yearly travel pass for buses which enables them to use COTRAL public bus transportation within the zone

The Participant profile: We are looking for motivated, enthusiastic and flexible volunteers, ready to share flat and experience with other people. This is a voluntary service, so we expect people applying to know what an esc project is, be opened and showing spirit of service during their stay. This is not a vacation in Italy, this is a learing and challenging project. The project is implemented under the European Solidarity Corps Programme, financed by the European Commission.
The participating organisations have to be mindful of these needs as they are responsible for providing a respectful and trusting hosting environment. At the same time, the organisations participating in the initiative devote a great deal of time, energy and resources to set up a high-quality activity; they should therefore expect that European Solidarity Corps participants show a similar level of respect for the local communities and the people that are directly concerned by the activities (https://youth.europa.eu/solidarity/mission_en).
