Сдружение за споделено учене ЕЛА е организация, която подкрепя развитието на децата повече от 20 години. Като Save the Children UK - Bulgaria Programme (1997 - 2007) търсихме алтернативи на институционализирането на деца и подтикнахме правителството да предприеме мерки за закриването на т. нар. “домове за деца”. Като Център за приобщаващо образование (2007-2019) наложихме приобщаващата среда като ценност и споделена отговорност в българското училище. Сега фокусираме усилията си в подкрепата на деца и млади хора в тяхното учене и търсене на собствен път. Също така работим с училища, родители и учители, които осъзнато подкрепят децата в изграждането на социалните и емоционалните им умения. Ние вярваме, че всяко дете трябва да бъде прието и ценено, и заслужава да получи подкрепа, за да порасне отговорно към себе си, към другите и към заобикалящия ни свят. Днес е важно всяко дете да мисли критично, да се свързва със себе си, с другите и с обкръжаващата го среда. Да осъзнае по свой начин целостта на живия свят около нас и своето място в него. С други думи, светът има нужда от осъзнати и отговорни хора и ние искаме да помогнем на колкото можем повече деца да станат такива. Ние вярваме, че образованието наистина променя животи към по-добро и за нас е радост, че сме част от ученето на децата. Повечето от децата, с които се срещаме не са лишени от способности, лишени са от възможности. Имат нужда от добри примери, които да ги насочват, за да изградят качества като екипност, търпение, увереност, постоянство и аналитичност, които не са заложени в учебната програма. Имат нужда и да изградят ясна картина за това какво могат да направят с живота си и как да стигнат дотам. Работим с деца и ги насърчаваме да са отговорни към себе си и към заобикалящия ги свят, да развиват силните си страни, да се чувстват значими, да бъдат даващи, успешни и щастливи. Изграждаме знания чрез изследвания, анализи и проучвания в сферата на образованието, нагласите и благополучието на децата, които провеждаме в България и чужбина. Споделяме знания и опит с училища, родители и учители, като работим заедно за благополучието на децата.

The Association for Shared Learning ELA is renovating its Green educational centre in the mountain village near Sofia, Bulgaria. After many years of work on various national and European projects, we have focused on creating a Green Education Center in the village of Sturgel in the mountains of Bulgaria, where we can continue to support children in their growth by implementing our programs for non-formal education. For these two months, we need enthusiastic young people who don’t mind living in basic conditions in a village, surrounded by nature, to communicate with the elderly.

Accommodation for the 59-day mobility period, monthly food allowance, pocket money and local transport are provided. Funds for plane tickets are covered within the projected project budget.

The volunteers will be included in the cycle of training organised by our organisation and will receive introductory training related to the performance of the tasks, as well as all necessary additional training to evaluate the learning outcomes. The participant will get access to the OLS platform for training in the Bulgarian language. All participants will be supervised and supported by their mentors.

The Participant profile: We are looking for 6 motivated volunteers for 2 months of service to support the organisation in the following activities: maintenance and basic repair work on the building and garden, including woodworking and working with natural materials, and manual labour. The participants should not mind basic living conditions, as the building is being renovated.
