Présentation du programme
The main focus of this activity is to combine digital tools and environmental awareness through solidarity, cooperation, and skills sharing within the group. We are looking for 6 international volunteers who would like to take part in a variety of activities, including:
- intercultural gatherings with locals
- creative workshops (including learning more about upcycling)
- writing articles for the youth magazine Mla-dost.dobro
- creating podcasts on topics relevant to young people
- environmental clean-up actions
- volunteering activities in rural areas across the county
- photography and video production focused on volunteering and environmental topics
- skills-sharing workshops on ecology, digitalization, civil society, volunteering, and related topics
- planning, organizing, and implementing youth-focused activities.
À propos de l'hébergement
The volunteers will be accommodated in Zabok, close to the Zagor organization. The accommodation consists of two separate rooms – one for female volunteers and one for male volunteers. They will share a bathroom, dining room, living room, and kitchen. Transportation will not be necessary, as all activities are within walking distance. Food expenses will be covered by the project.
À propos des loisirs
This is a unique opportunity to contribute to meaningful community initiatives, meet people from different countries, develop valuable new skills, and engage in intercultural learning within an international environment.
Exigences
The Participant profile: We are looking for 6 motivated and enthusiastic young people aged 18 to 30 who are legal residents of an EU Member State. This project is open to anyone who wants to gain new skills and knowledge about Croatian culture, share their own skills with others, enjoy taking photos and creating videos for social media, and actively participate in the local community through volunteer actions and activities both inside and outside the Youth Centre.

The participating organisations have to be mindful of these needs as they are responsible for providing a respectful and trusting hosting environment. At the same time, the organisations participating in the initiative devote a great deal of time, energy and resources to set up a high-quality activity; they should therefore expect that European Solidarity Corps participants show a similar level of respect for the local communities and the people that are directly concerned by the activities (https://youth.europa.eu/solidarity/mission_en).
What do we provide ?
Before applying for this volunteering project, you need to enroll yourself at European Solidarity Corps Platform (https://europa.eu/youth/solidarity_en) and specify your European Solidarity Corps Participant Number (PRN).
