Présentation du programme

Young Green Force brings together 12 young people from 18 to 30 years old from all Europe for a 1-month volunteering experience in Cabo de Gata Natural Park, Spain. It is a rural immersion for those who want to live in an extraordinary natural environment and take part in its protection and restoration. À propos de l'hébergement

The volunteers will share double or triple rooms in, a historic farmhouse located 4 km from the village of Fernán Pérez, that is fully self-sufficient and guided by ecological principles — an inspiring place to experience sustainable living in harmony with nature. Volunteers will live together in a self-managed system: some of them will take care of preparing the meals for the whole group, while all will share responsibility for keeping the houses clean and tidy. Every volunteer will receive pocket money for personal use; food will be bought by the hosting entity.

Exigences

The Participant profile: Read complete information in the infopack and apply ONLY through the google form. Profile is at least... - age 18 and 30; - legally reside in the European Union, Turkey, the Balkans, or the Caucasus; - very interested in environmental activities and rural life - motivated to improve practical and manual skills, problem-solving and teamwork competencies, and your sense of initiative; - keen to meet the local community, create opportunities, and make a difference both for them and yourself; - e ready to face possible challenges; and then much more, read in the document!

The project is implemented under the European Solidarity Corps Programme, financed by the European Commission.
The participating organisations have to be mindful of these needs as they are responsible for providing a respectful and trusting hosting environment. At the same time, the organisations participating in the initiative devote a great deal of time, energy and resources to set up a high-quality activity; they should therefore expect that European Solidarity Corps participants show a similar level of respect for the local communities and the people that are directly concerned by the activities (https://youth.europa.eu/solidarity/mission_en).
