El Hogar is an orphanage with the purpose of attending girls at social risk. Currently, girls between 2 and 18 years of age are attended who enter for simple protection with order of the competent Court. These girls have been violated in their rights, this is where our work comes into action on a spiritual level as well as on a professional level, with love and help from God we can serve our neighbor above all to these children.

О размещении

Volunteers live in Student Residences called House of Hope or Host Families in Santiago City and go to the school every day. Depending on the program House of Hope community may host the volunteers in groups.

Meals are not included but it depends on the program.

О местоположении

La Pintana neighborhood is one of the poorest and most vulnerable areas of Santiago. El Castillo is a ghetto community. There is a 30% of the youth that are 18 years old who did not finish highschool. Most kids suffer from domestic violence or live in orphanages because their parents cannot feed them or have judicial issues. Children are in much need of care and attention.
