The project brings together members of these communities, who work collectively to share their cultures and raise awareness about the importance of the environment. The project is characterized by a close-knit, family-like dynamic, reflecting the strong sense of community among its members.

Mazingira Plus is located in Chang’ombe, 15106 Dar es Salaam. It is in one of Dar es Salaam’s well-known community-oriented neighbourhoods with a mix of residential and informal settlements. The area is vibrant and easily accessible, with several community sports grounds and close proximity to the Port of Dar es Salaam, the National Stadium, and Kariakoo Market, which is the largest local market in East and Central Africa.
