Omnis Factum is a youth association created on January 25th of 2010. This organization was born from the will of young people of Montijo, conscious of the need to work for the local community. These association members’ are youngsters that want to work with and for other youngsters, and want to represent the vision that today we should have more work focused on youth and solidarity work. The main objective of Omnis Factum, in general, goes through the formation, awareness and inclusion of young people, developing citizenship concept based in the civic and active participation in society, as well through the promotion of intercultural dialogue and socio-cultural activities. Our target group are youngsters who are motivated to make a difference in society. We have developed several projects: Action 1.1, Youth Exchange, “Your Green Europe” about environment protection and 4.3, Training course "When Social Meet Rights", about young people's involvement in social causes; KA1 project "From Zero to Hero" in November of 2019 that mixed Zumba activities to fight the addiction of drugs, and two projects of European Voluntary Service. In 2021, we started the project “B.A.M- Brigada Ambiental do Montijo”, that aims to preserve and raise environmental awareness, and in 2022 we started the Solidarity Project “Escola da Interculturalidade Global" which focuses on the integration of migrant communities in the city of Montijo.

This project focuses on community intervention between Beja and Montijo, with the volunteer being based in Beja for the majority of the duration. Working closely with a local youth association, the main tasks involve the physical improvement of the space through mural painting and gardening, as well as direct engagement with the local population. The volunteer will also be responsible for preparing and leading outreach sessions in schools to promote the ESC among local students. Most of the project will take place in the city of Beja. As planned from the beginning, the experience includes traveling to Montijo to collaborate with Omnis Factum. In this phase, the volunteer integrates into our ongoing activities with the community and local schools. This dual approach allows for a transition from practical, hands-on maintenance to the organization of social initiatives. The goal is to develop skills in teamwork, public speaking, and event planning across two different regions.

Accommodation, food and transport are covered by the hosting Organization. The accomodation will be in the city where the project will take place; transportation has good access from the accomodation and the place where the activities will took place; Participants will be given a monthly amount with which to buy food for the duration of the project. The stay will be mostly in Beja, however, accommodation, meals and travel during the activities in Montijo are fully covered and guaranteed.

The training given to volunteers will consist of project design and implementation of activities.

The Participant profile: We are looking for volunteers between 18 and 30 years old, preferably with experience in the framework of Erasmus+ and/or European Solidarity Corps projects, and knowledge in social inclusion issues. We are looking for young people with interest and motivation for the area and causes of the project, with critical sense, mission spirit and who want to make a difference in society and in the world.Deadline: 31/07/2026 23:59
