Fundația Națională pentru Tineret (FNT), established in 2007, stands as a non-profit organization in Romania, serving as an umbrella for 22 County Youth Foundations. At the heart of FNT's mission lies the commitment to advocate for the rights and interests of young people, fostering their active participation in society across Romania. Targeting a diverse demographic of youth aged 14-35, FNT is dedicated to creating equitable access to developmental opportunities, ensuring every young person can reach their potential. This commitment extends to supporting youth-focused NGOs and County Youth Foundations, vital in our collaborative efforts. FNT envisions a Romania where youth are nurtured in a conducive environment, empowering them to contribute meaningfully to societal growth. Our belief is firm: every young individual deserves a platform to engage and make impactful changes. Towards this vision, FNT relentlessly strives to build an inclusive and just society for the youth. Key Initiatives of FNT: Development of a National Network of Youth Centers: These centers are envisioned as safe havens for young individuals to learn, evolve, and form connections. Enhancing Youth Participation in Decision-Making: FNT actively works to elevate the involvement of youth in local and national decision-making arenas. Advocacy for Youth-Centred Policies: We champion policies that bolster the rights and welfare of young people, focusing on pivotal areas like education and employment.

This project, led by Fundația Națională pentru Tineret (FNT) in partnership with LOGOS, STELLA, CSCE, aims to support young Ukrainian refugees through structured volunteering, education, and community engagement activities. Rooted in the European Solidarity Corps (ESC) priorities, the initiative enhances social inclusion, cultural exchange, and economic empowerment while strengthening community resilience and youth-led civic action. The project directly responds to the urgent needs of young refugees, addressing language barriers, social isolation, and skill development gaps. Through non-formal education, mentoring, and intercultural experiences, it provides practical learning opportunities, increasing employability and long-term integration prospects.
