Next Chapter offers a unique volunteering experience focused on community living, well-being, creativity, and connection with nature. Are you interested in hands-on projects, outdoor activities, community life, and creative expression? Then this volunteering experience might be for you. As a volunteer, you will stay at the Synergy House in Dzhurovo, where you’ll live with volunteers from different countries. Throughout the project, you will have the opportunity to help improve the center through activities such as gardening, building, painting, and various DIY projects. Beyond the practical work, you’ll also connect with local people, share your hobbies and skills with fellow volunteers, and become part of a supportive and vibrant community. Gain new experiences and contribute to a shared project!

About the accomodation

The accommodation/facilities include: • shared bedrooms with essential furniture & bedsheets, etc.; • huge outdoor space with hammocks and barbecue area; • kitchen area and living room space suitable for meetings & chilling; • available 7-seat car for local trips and shopping; • Dzhurovo village, a river and nature in the surrounding area. The travel cost will be covered from your home town to the venue of the activity and back.

About the leisure activities

You will be supported by two facilitators and Synergy Bulgaria Team.

Requirements

The Participant profile: We are offering this opportunity to 13 participants legally residing in European Solidarity Corps Programme countries who DO NOT require a visa for a 30-day stay in Bulgaria. You must not have participated in over 11 months of EVS/ESC volunteering programs in the past. There are several requirements from the programme itself and profile that we would like to focus on: • 18-30 years old (not older than 31 on August 26). • Enthusiastic about hands-on activities. • Eager to take initiative and create opportunities for themselves and others. • Ready to live in a rural environment in Bulgaria with basic conditions for 4 weeks. • Ready to be challenged to align with people from different cultures and create a joyful, supportive community. • People with the idea of a personal project/initiative/learning goal. • Priority will be given to participants with fewer opportunities.Deadline:
