The main objective of Abrigo Seguro is the fight against the social exclusion of children and young people, and work with families is inherent. We intend to restore the dignity of children and young people who have been excluded, providing upward social mobility, which enhances change in the surrounding community. For this, we develop several educational and social activities that make it possible to create different forms of life. We want to change attitudes, values and skills, creating a positive change in the way of life, the development of each person's self-esteem and positive self-concept. To promote solid and stable relationships, based on trust. Our action / intervention is preventive, which encourages pro-activity, training and awareness.

Youth4Inclusion is a project primarily designed to work directly with young people in vulnerable situations. The main goal of the project is to promote the social and educational inclusion of the youth we support, as well as to improve their family environment. We work towards this goal through daily activities at the COJ – Youth Occupational Centre, where we help young people explore new possibilities in life through workshops, visits, intercultural exchanges, and more. In addition, we conduct parenting education sessions for families and the wider local community. The activities developed by Abrigo Seguro are mainly educational. The volunteer’s tasks will be planned to offer a diverse and meaningful set of experiences. Volunteers will have the opportunity to work directly with the community, contribute to the organization’s key projects, and also take part in broader community events.
